I think it was in January 1988, that Joe Flood, George Breakfast, Mark Horn & 'Wild' Bill Durkin went down from NYC to Key West, where they were contracted to play 6 nights a week in a bar. A few weeks before they left they got together with recording maestro(even then!) Jono Manson and recorded this album.
As you can hear, they had all kinds of fun doing it. They had a fabulous time in Key West as well, but once back in NYC, they were all pulled in different directions and apart from a couple of gigs and some back porch parties, never played together again.
So it is a great pleasure to now make these recordings available. Still sounds fun to me!...
